Rehabilitation of a Patient operated for Ca Maxilla. A 70-year-old Patient was reported to the Department of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Surgery. The Patient was treated for Ca Maxilla. The defect involved the left maxillary Alveolus. The horizontal component extended from midline of the palate to the buccal sulcus. The vertical component had Oro nasal communication. The orbit was not involved (Subtotal Maxille ctomy). The Patient had a nasogastric tube in place as he was unable to swallow due to oro-nasal communication. He also had an incomprehensible speech. The patient had only a single molar on the opposite side of an operated site which made the retention of prosthesis difficult. A Palatal obturator was fabricated after the radiation was completed. After impression was taken, margins were recorded. After the obturator was in place, the patient was able to swallow food without regurgitation. The speech became very clear.
